Iris DeorreIris Deorre first started writing in her teens. She’d been going through a rough patch and to help cope with it she began to make up stories about a teen girl who was struggling with life. Iris found out that this made her feel better and so continued to write.

Her first published work was in a woman’s magazine. Iris didn’t even know she’d been published until the cheque came through the door months later. Iris then got married, had a child and the writing stopped for a while. Then after a divorce Iris went back to her first love, writing. She saw an advertisement encourageing writer to learn to write for theatre. She applied not expecting anything and too her surprise was called by a well know theatre to learn how to write for stage. A year later the literary manager from the theatre called her to say that they’d like to commission her for short play that would be broadcast on radio.  At this point Iris began to take her writing as a career and not just a hobby.

It was after a short writing course with a well known erotic author did Iris try her hand in erotic fiction. She found it the most liberating thing she’d ever experience. The ability to tell stories that allowed her characters to experience sex in every kind of way was the most freeing experience she’s ever had and she hasn’t looked back since. You can find her on her blog, sharing short stories. When she’s not writing she spends her time doing the school runs, homework, cooking, working outside the home and being an excellent Mum.
