Jess C ScottJess C Scott (born 1986, in Singapore) is a contemporary writer working in a diverse range of genres, such as erotica, young adult fiction, and urban fantasy (including elf punk and cyberpunk).

As a creative professional, Jess experiments with a variety of genres and styles to produce work which stands out from “the same old re-packaged mass-market pulp (Bibrary.com).”

Her first novel, EyeLeash (2009), is written entirely in a blog/IM format. Other books she has written include 4:Play (2009), 1: The Intern (2010), a 35-page business plan on establishing brand identity (2010), and the Cyberpunk Elven Trilogy (2011).

Jess also designs and creates her own book covers, including the illustrations for EyeLeash and The Other Side of Life.

Jess enjoys writing erotica because of its scope and diversity. She navigates psychological and emotional depths, and likes the challenge of crossing social and gender barriers. As with erotica, she believes human life is as diverse, which is what she aims to reflect/capture, with writing.

Jess’s literary work has appeared in a diverse range of publications, such as Word Riot, ITCH Magazine, and The Battered Suitcase. She won the “Most Original New Author” award at Hot Gossip Hot Reviews in 2010. She sold 1,000+ books in her first year of business (paid purchases / Sept 09 – Sept 10), and believes she is only just getting started.

Jess is a type 3 INFJ (enneagram and MBTI type). She’s always been motivated, driven, and very ambitious.
