Lana Fox

Back when Lana Fox hadn’t even thought of penning erotic stories, she gave her first poetry reading.  Afterwards, a member of the audience told her, “Your writing doesn’t mention sex, but that’s what it’s all about!”  Within a couple of months, Lana started both reading and writing erotica, and frankly she’s never looked back.

Inspired by writers such as Anais Nin and Steve Almond, Lana is a big believer in the transformational qualities of the genre.  Her sex scenes often move a character on emotionally, or allow them to let go in a whole new way.  She writes a sex column for “The Nervous Breakdown” and is a regular contributor at the “Good Vibrations Magazine”. Violet Blue has called her writing, “…so delicious, vivid, debauched and ripe it could easily be adapted to film.” (Best Women’s Erotica, 2011).

Lana’s fiction can be found in collections by Harlequin, Cleis and Xcite, including “Best Women’s Erotica 2011” (ed. Violet Blue), “Alison’s Wonderland” (ed. Alison Tyler), “Passion: Erotic Romance for Women” (ed. Rachel Kramer Bussel),, “Dream Lover” (ed. Kristina Wright), “Naughty Spanking 1” (ed. Miranda Forbes) and “With This Ring, I Thee Bed” (ed. Alison Tyler).  To find her blog along with free stories and samples from her novel in progress, visit: www.lanafox.com
