Portia Da CostaPortia Da Costa is a British author of romance, erotic romance and erotic fiction. Her novels have been published both in the US and the UK, and translated into many languages including German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian and Japanese. Best known for her association with the pioneering British erotica publisher Black Lace, she enjoys writing books with contemporary, paranormal and occasionally futuristic settings, and is now writing historical erotic romance too, concentrating on the late Victorian period.

Portia has been published since 1990, and has contributed to many different short story anthologies and women’s magazines. Recently she’s been writing short erotica for Harlequin Spice Briefs, and 2012 will see the publication of IN THE FLESH, her full length historical erotic romance for Harlequin Spice. Portia has also had work accepted by Samhain Publishing, and in future hopes to pen more romances for them too, both erotic and sweeter.

Portia is a member of Romance Writers of America, the Passionate Ink RWA Chapter, the Romantic Novelists Association [UK] and the Society of Authors [UK].

Portia lives in the heart of West Yorkshire, UK, with her husband and her cats. When she’s not writing she enjoys reading, watching TV and movies, and hanging out online at Twitter, Goodreads, and Romance Divas. She was formerly a librarian and has also worked in local government.
