I’m looking for erotic, exotic tales that re-examine the science fiction and historical troupes of the Victorian era and breathe life into them. Think calibrated vibrators,  steam-powered fuck machines, and galvanized condoms. (Yes, the modern condom was invented in the Victorian era.) Maybe a steampunk Story of O? Or a castle sex club? Or a bordello tale in New Orleans? Anywhere in the world is fine with me as long as there’s a sense of Victoriana in your story.

Try include a sense of the era’s perspective on fashion, culture, architectural style, and art in your tale. Add the derring-do of the dime novel series. And make it hot and erotic!

I’ll consider fictionalizations of H. G. Wells (he did, after all, believe in Free Love), Jules Verne (a Franco-centric tale?), or maybe Ada Lovelace (maybe her Analytical Engine wasn’t the only thing she invented!). How about Edgar Allan Poe? (No, not nevermore!) But I won’t ignore work with original characters in their favor. Make me fall in love with them and you’ll have me!

I welcome all genders and orientations to the pages of this anthology. And feel free to mix up gender roles if you’re so inclined.
