Exotic locations, luxurious hotels, hot sex and romance… the Totally Five Star imprint from Totally Bound Publishing/Pride Publishing has all of those things in spades. And Fuel to the Fire, set in St. Lucia, is definitely no exception. This second chance story is intriguing, endearing and exciting from beginning to end.

It tells the story of Jaqueline Pennington and Logan Forrester. Jaqueline is – or should I say was – a spoiled rich girl, who was willing to give up money and privilege for the love of her life, Logan. Logan, whose life was pretty much the exact opposite to Jaqueline’s, was determined to make something of himself in order to give Jaqueline the life he believed she deserved. However, interference and a misunderstanding meant that the two of them were parted, both believing the other to be to blame.

So when, years later, a wedding puts them both back in the same place at the same time, sparks begin to fly. It quickly becomes apparent that, in spite of past hurts, the chemistry between them is still powerful, and it’s not long before they give in to it. But what happens when what started as just sex becomes something more, and feelings become involved?

This was a real page-turner of a book. Although the setting was perfect for escapism, the storyline and the characters themselves felt very real, which I liked. I was intrigued by and invested in Jaqueline and Logan’s story from the off, and was eager to keep reading to find out what happened next. This is a great read, with well-rounded, likeable characters, an immersive plot, smoking hot sex scenes, and, of course, an idyllic setting. Definitely a book I’d recommend to fans of erotic romance.
