Having read Melting Ms Frost, I was eager to dive between the covers of its sequel, Playing with Fire. I really liked the characters, Aidan and Annabel, and wanted to find out where their intriguing story went next. I’m glad to say I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, I found this sequel to be even better than the first book.

Aidan may have melted some of the ice around Annabel Frost’s heart, but he’s still got a long way to go. She struggles with her past, and clings desperately to the things she’s fought so hard for – her career, financial independence – at the detriment of everything else. Aidan’s determined to make her see just what she’s missing out on.

This was another great read. Emotions ran super high; again, the sex was off the charts hot, I loved the settings and other characters brought into the book as a slight change of pace from the first book. There were also some moments which really tugged at my heartstrings, too. Overall, this is a fantastic follow up to the first book. My only complaint is that I wanted more! Highly recommended to erotic romance fans – but you do need to have read Melting Ms Frost, first.
